The Story of Earline
Born in July 1920 in Chester, South Carolina, Earline Mobley Chisholm was the youngest of eleven children and a spirited, joyful presence from the start. With the loving support of her mother, she grew up into a confident young woman whose lively personality would define her life.
After marrying and starting a family, Earline and her husband moved north in search of greater opportunity, where she worked diligently to support her growing household. Her career at the Pennsylvania State Transportation Department spanned many years before her well-earned retirement.
A devoted mother of five, Earline took immense pride in her expanding family, later becoming a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Known for her radiant beauty, generosity, and boundless love, she had a gift for making everyone feel special. Her kindness and grace touched every life she encountered -- a legacy that continues to inspire generations of her family today.
Her Legacy Lives On
Earline's legacy continues through the generations who carry her name, her values, and her creative spirit forward. Inspired by her passion for family, faith, and homemade sweetness, Sweet Earline's was founded by her granddaughter Patrice and great-granddaughter Kiersten as a tribute to her enduring influence.
Every cookie is crafted in her honor - made with care, attention to detail, and a touch of the same love she shared so generously throughout her life. Through each design, each flavor, and each celebration, we strive to keep her legacy alive --- one cookie at a time.

Sweet Earline's is a family-owned business based in Rockville, Maryland, created as a tribute to the love, legacy, and lessons passed down from Earline Mobley Chisholm.
Inspired by her example of creativity, generosity, and care, our mission is to craft desserts that not only look beautiful -- but feel personal. Each cookie is baked from scratch, hand-decorated with care, and designed to bring people together in celebration of life's sweetest moments.

Our Sweet Beginning
Sweet Earline's began as a dream inspired by a grandmother's love and the family traditions she built around her kitchen table. What started as a creative hobby -- sharing handmade cookies with friends and family -- quickly became something more: a way to carry Earline's legacy forward and share her sweetness with others.
In 2016, we officially launched Sweet Earline's with our first pop-up event in Silver Spring, Maryland. The community's overwhelming love and support sparked a journey that continues to grow year after year. From small celebrations to large-scale events, each cookie we've created has been made with intention, gratitude, and joy.
Our story is one of family, faith, and perseverance ---proof that the sweetest things in life are made with love, one batch at a time.

Hosted our first Sweet Earline's pop - up in Silver Spring, MD.
2017
Debuted our signature Custom Cookie Collection and began serving private events.
