Ordering Basics
How far in advance should I place my order?
A minimum of two (2) weeks notice is required for orders of one (1) - six (6) dozen cookies.
A minimum of thirty (30) days notice is required for orders of seven (7)+ dozen cookies.
How many designs can I include in one order?
Each order can include up to 6 unique cookie designs.
If you'd like more than 6 designs and need multiple themes, please contact us before submitting your order so we can discuss availability and scheduling options.
Can I place a rush order?
Rush orders may be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on our production schedule.
A $20 rush order fee applies to any order needed with less than two (2) weeks' notice, if our calendar allows.
Pickup, Courier & shipping
Where do I pick up my order?
Orders are available for pickup in Rockville, MD, during the following times:
Mon - Fri: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Sat: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Full pickup details and instructions are provided upon payment confirmation.
Do you offer delivery or shipping?
We do not offer in-person delivery.
However, clients may arrange a courier - such as UBER Package Delivery, Couriers DC, or Washington Express - to collect their order on their behalf. Please provide the courier's driver name, vehicle license information, and expected pick-up time before your scheduled date so we can prepare your order for a smooth handoff.
UPS Ground shipping is also available for an additional fee. Shipping details and tracking information are sent via email on the scheduled shipping date.
Please note that Sweet Earline's is not liable for courier or carrier damages or delays once the order has left our possession.
Payment & confirmations
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments can be securely made through the Square order invoice provided upon ordering.
We accept credit, debit, ACH transfer and Cash App payments.
How do I confirm my order?
Once your order request is submitted, we'll review the details and confirm availability via email.
Orders are officially confirmed and added to our baking calendar upon receipt of payment.
Large orders (7+ dozen) are officially confirmed once the deposit has been received.
Do you require a deposit?
Orders of up to six (6) dozen cookies must be paid in full at the time of booking.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure large orders (7+ dozen) and confirm your date. The remaining balance will be due two (2) weeks prior to the order pickup/delivery date.
What happens if I don't pay by the due date?
Because we're a small business with limited production slots, unpaid orders are not guaranteed and may be released if payment is not received by the invoice due date.
Cancellations & Refunds
Do you offer refunds and cancellations?
Because all Sweet Earline's cookies are custom-made and scheduled specifically for your event, deposits are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible in writing (email preferred).
- Standard Orders: Once baking or decorating has started, orders become non-refundable
- Large Orders (+7 dozen): Cancellations within 14 days of scheduled pickup or delivery date may result in the remaining balance still being due, as supplies and production time have already been committed.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds (when applicable) for credit, debit, ACH transfers or Cash App payments may take up to 7 - 10 business days to appear, depending on your financial institution.
