
Ordering & Policies
lead time & rush orders
​
We require a minimum of two (2) weeks' notice for all Standard Orders (1 - 6 Dozen).
​
Large Orders (+7 dozen) require a minimum of thirty (30) days' notice to ensure proper planning, production scheduling, and availability.​
​
Rush orders may be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on our production capacity.
A $20 rush order fee applies to any Standard Order requested with less than two weeks' notice.​​​

payment & confirmation​
Once your order request is submitted, we'll review the details and confirm availability via email.
Orders are officially confirmed and added to our calendar once payment is received. Payment must be submitted by the due date listed on your invoice. Unpaid orders are not guaranteed and may be released if payment is not received within the stated timeframe.
For Large Orders (+7 dozen), a deposit invoice is required to reserve your date, and the remaining balance is due two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date.​
Payments can be securely made through the Square order invoice provided upon ordering. Credit, debit, ACH transfer and Cash App payments are accepted.

Pick-Up, Courier & Delivery
​
All orders are available for pick up in Rockville, MD during the following times:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Pick-up dates and times are confirmed at the time of order and cannot be altered once scheduled. Clients are responsible for picking up their order on the confirmed date within the designated pick-up window.
We are unable to accommodate early, late, or alternate pickup times.
As a small business, maintaining a consistent pickup schedule allows us to manage production efficiently and ensure every order is prepared and packaged with the same level of care.
Please plan accordingly to ensure someone is available during your assigned pickup time.
Orders not picked up within the scheduled window will be available at the next designated pickup day and time.
Full pick-up details, including location and instructions, are provided to the client upon payment confirmation.

*Courier Pick-Up (Client - Arranged Option)
If you're unable to pick up in person, you may arrange a courier - such as UBER Package Delivery, Couriers DC, or Washington Express - to collect your order on your behalf.
​
Please provide the courier's driver name, vehicle license information, and expected pick-up time in advance so we can prepare your order for a smooth handoff.
​
Sweet Earline's does not offer in-person delivery and is not affiliated with any courier services. Clients are responsible for booking and managing courier arrangements directly. We'll ensure your order is packaged securely and ready for pick-up.

*Shipping
UPS Ground shipping is available and subject to additional shipping charges.
Please note that Sweet Earline's is not liable for carrier damages or delays once the order has been shipped.

Shipping details and tracking information are provided to the client via email on the scheduled shipping date.

Cancellations & refunds
​
Because all Sweet Earline's cookies are custom-made and scheduled specifically for your event, deposits are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible in writing (email preferred).
- Standard Orders: Once baking or decorating has started, orders become non-refundable
- Large Orders (+7 dozen): Cancellations within 14 days of the scheduled pickup or delivery date may result in the remaining balance still being due, as supplies and production time have already been committed.
Refunds (when applicable) for credit, debit, ACH transfers or Cash App payments may take up to 7 - 10 business days to appear, depending on your financial institution

Storage & freshness
​
All cookies are individually wrapped in clear, airtight cellophane bags to maintain freshness and presentation. The packaging is ideal for display at events, dessert tables, or as gifts.
​
Cookies remain fresh for up to two (2) weeks at room temperature when stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. For longer storage, cookies may be refrigerated for up to three (3) months or frozen for up to one (1) year. When ready to enjoy, allow cookies to return to room temperature before serving for the best taste and texture.

All cookies are prepared in a home-based kitchen that handles common allergens, including wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts. While we take care to avoid cross-contact, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
​
We are pleased to offer gluten-free cookies in our Vanilla Shortbread flavor; however, please note that these cookies are produced in the same kitchen where gluten and other allergens are handled.
​
Customers with severe food allergies are strongly encouraged to note any allergies when placing their order so we can take every possible precaution to minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
